Head to glorious Yorkshire and enjoy not just a peaceful woodland break at Chevin Country Park Hotel, but also admission into one of the most impressive stately homes in the North of England, Harewood House
Harewood sits in the heart of Yorkshire and is one of the Treasure Houses of England. It was built in the 18th century and has art collections to rival the finest in Britain. Visitors can enjoy exhibitions of contemporary art, stately rooms, the farm experience, over 100 acres of exquisite gardens, adventure playground, cafe and shop, along with a range of talks, exhibitions and events. It is a popular shooting location for TV and film. A whole host of period dramas, including ‘Victoria’ and ‘Downtown Abbey’ have been shot there. The set of one of the UK’s most popular soaps, ‘Emmerdale’, is situated within the estate (access not included, but tour can be booked additionally), whilst Harewood House also provided the starting point of the 2014 Tour de France Grand Depart

PLEASE NOTE: Harewood House is a 6 mile drive from Chevin and transport is NOT included. Open 7 days a week, 10am-6pm. Tickets for the attraction will be booked by the Chevin Reservations team. Please make a note of preferred date and approx time of visit in the ‘Personalise Your Stay’ box on the Chevin booking site. You can visit either on day of arrival or day of departure. The Emmerdale Tour is not included in the package, but can be booked via their website
