Afternoon Tea in Stunning Yorkshire
A decadent British tradition in a spectacular setting
Let’s raise a glass to Anna, the 7th Duchess of Bedford, originator of afternoon tea. Peckish between luncheon (a small meal) and dinner (often served late), Anna got into the habit of having a light meal of tea, cake and sandwiches in the afternoon. Soon, what was atypical became de rigueur!
Enjoy a delightful afternoon tea in our stunning woodland surroundings. The menu comprises finger sandwiches, delicious cakes, pastries and scones, freshly brewed tea or coffee, and you have the option to round it off with a chilled glass of Prosecco!
Afternoon tea is available daily from 12pm and can be enjoyed Lakeside if the weather permits
